January Malifaux Monthly Tournament! – Houston, Texas

It’s time for the first monthly Malifaux Tourney of 2024 at Dragon’s Lair Houston! We had some great turnouts for our monthly tourneys all last year, so let’s start off the year with another fantastic tourney!
We’ve been officially using clocks for the last few months and everything has been going smoothly, so I wanted to remind everyone that we will continue to officially use clocks in a full way for this event! I have enough clocks to provide them for the normal number of players we have at our monthly events, so no need to worry about that. I will continue to be VERY liberal with my proxy policy for models from the Madness of Malifaux book which have rules released but not physical models (several have come in recently at Dragon’s Lair, so you can pick them up while you’re there!). Proxies for these models will be acceptable so long as they are on the correct base size and you inform your opponent in advance what the proxy model is representing. As always, painting is not required.

We’re booked for tournaments the 2nd Saturday of every month at Dragon’s Lair in their new space, so block out that day on your calendars in perpetuity! If you’re not familiar with the amenities at Dragon’s Lair they also have their Tabletop Tavern, so you can enjoy a beer while playing some Malifaux and have a tasty bite in between rounds!
This event will be a three round, 50 Soulstone, fixed faction tournament utilizing the Malifaux 3rd Edition rules. Registration will begin at 11:00 AM. Round 1 will begin as close to 12:00 PM as possible.

There is no painting requirement for this tournament.
Entry fee is $10 and goes entirely to prize support.
